Dr. Bryan Greenaway believes hearing care should look at the whole person — and reach the people who need it most.

A Gresham native, Dr. Greenaway earned his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) at Pacific University in 2019. He spent two years in private practice, then returned to Pacific as an assistant professor from 2021 to 2026, teaching future audiologists while caring for patients of his own.

His heart is in two areas that traditional hearing care often overlooks: tinnitus and auditory processing. Both are personal for him. His own tinnitus had led him to understand that "live with it" is not a good enough solution. His passion for auditory processing began in the clinic, where he kept meeting people who had "normal" hearing tests but still struggled to follow everyday conversations. Seeing how many were slipping through the cracks, he sought out specialized training - care that's still hard to find in the region. He holds a certificate in tinnitus management (CH-TM) and completed advanced auditory processing training through the Auditory Processing Institute.

Away from the clinic, Dr. Greenaway is a tireless advocate for making hearing care more accessible and affordable. Through policy work with the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, research on everyday technology that can help people hear better, and plain-language hearing education through Orelo Hearing, Dr. Greenaway wants to see every person meet their hearing goals.
